Last week, I had the pleasure of hanging out with a few people that have inspired me to “dream bigger” than I already have been. I was invited to Houston, TX by a few fellow buisness partners and given the opportunity to hang out with millionaires. I admit that this wasn’t my first time having this experience, but it was another reminder of the perks and benefits of being in the network marketing industry.
The photo you see above was actually a picture that I took from the balcony of their Houston Penthouse, and considering that I’m always inspired to write and share…whether by blogging, shooting videos or just simply writing in my journal, I was inspired by the view on today’s topic…… “DO YOU HAVE AN AREA VIEW OR AN AERIAL VIEW?”
The View From My Bedroom…WOW!!!
See, here’s the story…..the penthouse we were in was surrounded by windows, and the tower is in the middle of the city, across from several parks, golf courses and historic buildings. While getting a tour of the city “from the skyrise”, several different monuments were pointed out to me and I would shake my head and say “oh, okay, so that’s the park, that’s the museum”, etc., etc.
However, when going out for a tour from the “ground level”, when they began to point out the various locations like the park, museum, and other downtown sites, it all looked TOTALLY DIFFERENT. Although I knew they were telling me the truth, the view at “ground level” was totally different from the “skyrise”/aeriel view. So I told my host Chante, I said “Wow, things look totally different when your on the ground floor versus seeing it from the skyrise level”.

Immediately after saying that, I began to think about my weekend in Houston and the fact that I was being exposed to a Millionaire Lifestyle as a product of being apart of the Network Marketing Industry. We were working in a home with a full city view, going to the spa for hot rock massages, riding around in 2010 fully loaded Benzes and being chauffeured by our driver, Mr. Kenny, the entire weekend (now that’s an experience in and of itself)!!! And I realized that Network Marketing is like getting the “skyrise” view of life….it’s the BIG PICTURE VIEW versus the everyday working world which is the ground level view of life where you can only see whats immediately around you.
You see, as a network marketer, although some people may not get the opportunity to earn the millions “in the beginning”, the benefit of this industry is that they get to network with those who are living the life that this industry offers….”the good life”. I’ve been in several different network marketing businesses, and yes I have failed numerous times, but the relationships that I have established with the various leaders that I was privy to meet in the various companies that I’ve been in, has allowed me to be exposed to things I would have “never, ever, ever” experienced in the working world, simply because most networks in the working world tend to be on an even playing field and barely making it. But when you are in the network marketing world, you have the opportunity to experience yacht parties, luxury vacations, luxury cars, high end restaurants and everything that gives you access to a 5 star luxury lifestyle……EVEN IF YOU PERSONALLY HAVEN’T ARRIVED YET AND MAKING MILLIONS OF DOLLARS!!
The beauty about this industry is that when you are hungry, driven, motivated and not jealous hearted, it’s fairly easy to make it into the inner circle. People tend to seek out the self-motivated ones, and often invite you to get a taste of what awaits you when you are persistent and determined to unveil the hidden treasures that this industry has for you.
Unfortunately, many tend to miss this and instead, spend time griping, complaining, kicking and screaming about what they don’t have, and what someone hasn’t done for them, all the while, missing the key to life………..EXPOSURE!!!
Exposure is what can make or break someone who may have been born in unfortunate circumstance but was able to get a glimpse of life’s alternatives and made a decision to “get out the hood”.
Exposure is what leads those who may have been an immigrant in a poor impoverished country, but got a glimpse of what the free world (America) was like, and they risked their life to cross over an ocean without a clue of what awaited them, all to land on American Soil, not knowing English, no money, no family and no clue of where to start rebuilding a life….but years down the road, becoming a Multi-Millionaire and Entrepreneur Extraordinaire.
Exposure is what allows people to have “vision” of the possibilities of life, and without vision, as the bible says, people perish….but with Vision, people can accomplish the extraordinary!
Exposure is the secret to any network marketer, because it allows them to see themselves as the success story, and fight pass the times of discouragement, a team that quits on you and a family that doesn’t support you.
Exposure is what we all need and should want to get to the other side of this journey!!!
If you are in a Network Marketing company today and you have access to pull on the coattails of successful people, and be invited to dine with them, what would you do? What would that be worth to you? What kind of questions would you ask? What kind of hope and vision would that give you?
Well guess what my friend…..you have that opportunity TODAY!!
As a Network Marketer, you have an Aeriel view of life, and you get to see the BIG PICTURE of what life can offer you by being a part of this industry. Now more than ever, you need to appreciate the exposure you get by being around those that have accomplished a lot in this industry because each and every opportunity that you have to be in the presence of Millionaires is another floor up the skyrise of success!!

Take pride in the Aerial View my friend, because they don’t come often. Things will definitely look different from the top, so don’t allow your thinking to remain on the “ground floor”. Instead, hop on the elevator of Exposure and let’s bask and appreciate the view from the Penthouse of the Network Marketing Possibilities!!
