China Telecom Launched E-surfing Broadband

China Telecom has launched its new E-surfing broadband service on March 17. The E-surfing broadband service can be accessed by a number of terminals including wireless mobile phones, PDAs (personal digital assistant), PSPs (playstation portable) and other devices.

 

According to Wang Xiaochu, general manager of Chine Telecom, the company’s 3G network has covered all county-level cities in China. Users can experience broadband speeds of 4M above county-level.

 

China Telecom’s online software store, Estore, will be open for all mobile phone users as well as software developers and mobile phone manufacturers.

 

China Telecom has signed agreements with several companies including Microsoft and Nokia which allow users to download software designed by the latter with less hassle.
