Four Easy Methods To Generate Free Network Marketing Leads

Every day, as network marketers, we make decisions about which marketing strategies we are going to use in our business. Many of these techniques are essentially free, while many others can cost varying amounts of money.

When deciding whether we are going to use paid or free strategies, it is important to remember that we don’t spend in money, we will typically have to spend in time.

At the end of the day, it is really a matter of perspective.

While you may not have to spend any money out of your bank account on a free strategy, it will cost you your time, so it is important to decide how much your time is worth to you!

I’m not saying that these 4 techniques aren’t worth doing just because they are free. I’m just pointing out that you will have to invest your time if you want to see any significant results.

I truly believe in the following four strategies and know they can be quite effective in generating free network marketing leads, so let’s get to them

Four Strategies You Can Use To Generate Free Network Marketing Leads

1. Article Marketing

Article marketing can be one of the most effective ways to get massive traffic to your website, but it needs to be done correctly. It’s not article marketing if you throw an article up on a single site from time to time.

You need to do some keyword research first, to decide what you should be writing about and what keywords you are going to target. It is also important to syndicate your content, with all of your syndicated content pointing back to your original article.

You will also want to make sure that you are using the appropriate anchor text and that you are sending your traffic somewhere that will convert. It’s all well and good that they read your article, but you want to turn your traffic into leads!

Syndicating your content can be time consuming, but there are many tools out there that can save you a lot of time. Some may be as little as $100 or less, while others may cost more, or even require an ongoing monthly fee.

If you decide that this is going to be one of your “go-to” strategies, I would highly recommend doing some research on a tool to help you automate the process. I know doing this technically doesn’t make this strategy 100% free, but it can save you a lot of time!

Something to keep in mind when you are writing your articles is that the point of the article is to share information and teach others. Writing a bunch of garbage or spammy articles just to write something won’t really produce any long term results for you.

One of the best things about this technique is that, if done correctly, you will continue to get leads for months or even years to come on a particular article. You do have to be patient, though, and stay consistent and diligent because the results won’t come overnight. However, if you do stick with it, they will come.

2. Video Marketing

When I first got started in this industry, video marketing is how I got most of my first sign-ups. It can be very effective because you are right there for your prospects to see – face to face.

Again though, this needs to be done properly. It’s not enough just to throw up a video here and there and say you are doing video marketing. There is keyword research that needs to be done here as well.

I would highly recommend having a YouTube account, as long as you remember to treat YouTube as you would any other social networking site, such as Facebook. Meet other marketers, build relationships, provide value and share good content. Just like before, no spammy videos guys!

There are also some tools that you could use to help you disseminate your videos to multiple video sites, some free, some not. Just like before, do your research to decide what works with your budget and your needs!

3. Forum Marketing

Forum marketing can be a very effective strategy, if done correctly! Although, joining a handful of fourms and then pitching your business is the fastest way to NOT get free network marketing leads.

I’m always amazed by the number of people who actually do this. They join the forum, and put up a spammy post (no value, just spam). Furthermore, they don’t bother to put up a picture or a bio or even a good signature. It’s always seemed so silly to me.

You certainly aren’t going to be that person because you know it will just be a waste of your time.

Instead, decide how many forums you can commit to, maybe 1-3 to start. Take the few minutes to put up a picture and fill out your profile.

Wondering what to do next?

Again, as I mentioned before, don’t pitch your business in your posts. Any and all selling belongs in your signature. Speaking of that, put a link in your signature that offers people more than a generic company website/capture page.

Forums are places where people with similar interests can share information and ideas. It’s a place to ask questions and have questions answered. This is exactly what you should be doing while you are there.

Join in the conversation and get to know other people on the forum. A forum is very much like a community and it is a great place to meet people and build relationships. Lead with value and you won’t go wrong.

I want to touch upon your signature that I mentioned earlier. You have the opportunity to put a link or maybe two in your signature so don’t waste it.

You could send people to a personally branded landing page in one link, and then maybe to your blog or website in the other. Always be mindful to not send them to generic websites as that doesn’t brand you as a leader!

As you become part of the community by offering value and leadership, people will naturally become interested in you and will look to your signature to find out more about you. That is how you will generate leads, so make sure you send them some place that can do that, like your own blog or your own capture page!

A generic lead generation and training system would be a great place to send them as it would be a great place for them to find some good information for their own business. As always, make sure you are sending them to a personally branded landing page!

A few great forums you could join are:

* Rich Dad
* Warrior Forum
* Better Networker

4. Social Media Marketing

Social media marketing can very quickly turn into a time vacuum so be very careful with this one!

The first thing you want to do is join some of the top social media sites, such as Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. Make sure you take the time to complete your profile, including a picture, and don’t make it all about business.

Remember that these are social sites, so it’s important to show that you have more than one dimension and you’re not just a network marketer.

Now, go out there and make friends. Join in the conversations and get to know people. Listen to people and find out what they want. Share with your friends, provide them with valuable information, don’t just sell to them.

It’s okay to occasionally promote an affiliate offer or your own offer, but 90% of the time, you should be providing value and demonstrating leadership.

Also, you are going to be provided a place where you can put links for your websites. Yet again, please don’t be sending your new friends to generic company landing pages or websites. (Do I sound like a broken record yet? GOOD. It’s really THAT important!)

Generic sites don’t provide your friends with a place to get to know you better, and they certainly don’t provide them with any value.

Sending them to your blog would be a great start. They can get to know you better, see the value you have to offer and sign up for your mailing list while they are there!

This will most certainly allow you to develop a much stronger relationship with them, and from there, who knows? Maybe they will end up on your team down the road, or maybe they will purchase one of your products or an affiliate product.

Well, there you go. Four easy ways to generate free network marketing leads. These are certainly not the only four, but I think this will get you headed in the right direction!

Why Creating For Your Audience Is Superior To SEO Articles

SEO is a thing that has been regarded as very mysterious over the last few years. There are individuals who understand it very well, and they have success with it in their own corporations. So it is not surprising to see a lot more people approaching SEO from diverse angles. One popular approach is to write content with SEO in mind to improve a page’s ranking in the search engines. Some are convinced that it is best to write the info specifically for the search engine crawlers. Nowadays that approach should have proven bad, but lots of people still utilize it.

Google has been stating for a long time (and attempted to enforce it with an alogrithm modification) that you need to write for people not bots. Whenever someone comes to your site it’s usually because they are looking for something. What they want to avoid are articles or fragments of content that obviously pander to the search engines like google (SEO articles). This approach is typically adopted because of not having enough information or obtaining the right perspective. When you write for your audience, then you will begin to see some good things occur including higher search positions.

Keep in mind that Google is observing the amount of time visitors remain at your site – the are measuring your content’s leadership qualities, if you will. This is referred to as your site’s “bounce rate” and it supplies Google with a lot of data. If most people are spending just a few seconds and then leaving, then Google will conclude your site is not pertinent and targeted for that keyword. This is not great info for you. At the same time, Google is more prone to give you a great SEO rating if people are spending a long time on your pages. The whole thing unites eventually.

Your capability to successfully write for your audience, and give them what they need, is rooted in solid market network marketing lead generation research. There’s really no other way to find out about your audience, or target market, and give it to them. When you have the right demographics, then you will be able to better deduce the problems they have. It’s preferable to figure out needs and dilemmas when you visit forums that are utilized by members of your audience. This puts you in the best position to write about their individual cares and wishes.

This degree of research-based writing can also lend something great to your information. Your content will probably be relevant–something else Google can ascertain through the use of a simple algorithm. Google’s crawlers can read your content and get relevance from it. The best way to have that standard of writing is to be well informed about your topic. When you combine that along with your bounce rate, Google can easily see just how relevant the content on your site truly is.
