The difference with domestic hosters that American hosters have uptime over 99 %. “Horrors” at this are just beginning. The U.S. hosts do not have any official address, phone numbers, and there are so much various companies that it feels like it can happen some trick. Of course, it is better to work with proven companies that have already proved themselves in the market. But the availability of contact details is not a guarantor of stability. Someone was in the office of Yandex? I think not, but, nevertheless, all use the services of this trademark.

Now it is clear that overseas hosting is cheaper, at least because there is no need to pay for office rent, unwanted gigabytes of traffic, extra salaries, etc. But in general before ordering a paid hosting it is better to communicate with representatives of company. Purely American capitalist way will manifest in the long process of persuasion and touching of the client. After listening to the manager, you will begin to understand all the charm of the foreign hosting more clearly.

I hasten to break off in the first place those who are going to do the site with a catalogue of programs, pictures, photos and all sorts of “heavy” files. The fact is that the web hosting company in its price lists write that traffic is unlimited, but in reality it is not the truth, there are reasonable limits … Of course, you can dispute this fact in court, as you’ve been promised in the contract to have no traffic, but of course it will give you a little, because the company would not keep such site.

In general, the reality of things is so. At the time of writing this article, my site actually is closed, and there work only a few sections of text and that, in principle, and prompted me to write this article.

For example, the company Valuehost yields only up to 15Gb. traffic per month, although in the price list they say “no limit”. Of course, if you want more traffic, it can be purchased for an additional fee. So, before you spread “heavy” files on your site consider, will you be able to recover it?
