What Is The Right Online Business Path

Now that millions have attempted to start an online business one problem remains the same. Everyone expects there to be one single way which they will be ensured success with their online business. Personally I wish it was this easy you can read whatever you would like and try whatever you would like, but more than likely if you follow someone else’s path to success it will not work. Think about your favorite blogger whoever they may be and read their story. I am sure it is extremely inspiring when a nobody becomes a millionaire .

Even if you use different ideas the same online business outline will be the same. There are things that every online business will need for success and the first thing is customer satisfaction. Years ago rather than customer satisfaction I would say content, but these days you really don’t need content if your website is different. Think about twitter and facebook, these websites really have no unique original content created by the webmasters, but rather a usability and customer satisfaction rivaled by no one. In this day and age you will need either content or something unique such as the platform twitter and facebook uses. For a sole webmaster the most common route to success is creating an informative and helpful web presence that adds true value to your niche. Another aspect that every other business will need no matter how useful and informative is basic internet marketing.

Internet marketing is one of the most fundamental tools used by every online business. They want their website to get more traffic and use different methods to make this possible. One important aspect when marketing is never use black hat techniques. These are techniques which will rank you well in Google, but are frowned upon by Google and if you get caught Google will either drop you deep into the SERPs or ban your website completely. Some of the techniques that you should be using are whitehat techniques like using freetrafficsystem.com and submitting to the directories over at directorycritic.com. Another place I enjoy marketing is the article directories across the web. Some of the top directories you should submit every article to include ezinearticles.com, articlesbase.com, and goarticles.com. If you would like a larger list of article directories go to Google and search for “list of article directories”.

Appealing To A Larger Online Business Audience

Every single and post personal opinions on these topics.

Remember that you will be dealing of all forms of people and the goal should be to appeal to the largest audience possible when you want to make money online. If on the other hand you are writing for fun on a specific topic or running a personal blog then by all means post whatever you want as long as readership is not a concern. Personally I run business blogs so I can make money online which means that I cannot write about my personal thoughts on a particular subject. I remember one time I posted my views about gay rights and lost half my readership. The view in my eyes was positive, but I quickly found out that there was quite a few conservatives that read my blog and really didn’t care for reading about the positives of giving gay people the right to get married. Not that this view has anything to do with making money and in fact lost me potential customers and clients. This type of post should have been done on an external site such as a personal blog or created on a web page over at squidoo.com or hubpages.com.

Remember the three topics you want to stay away from is sex (which gay rights fall under), politics (republican or democrat), and religion. Do not chastise anyone on a professional blog for having different believes than you. If your topic is about internet marketing then write internet marketing posts that don’t even attempt to incorporate personal views or opinion unless they are needed for your internet marketing view. There will be times when you need to put opinion within a blog post when you are not exactly sure what you are writing about. One good example about this is when I write about SEO I can only guess and give my opinion about search engine optimization since only Google knows their exact algorithm. When I do give my opinion I make sure to never put down others and actually invite argument. I also completely stopped writing about seriously controversial topics because you will not get an argument, but rather a full on fight.
