Are Making Any Money In Your Network Marketing Internet Business?
So what do you thin suits you better, going belly to belly or a network marketing internet business?Have you ever asked yourself this question? Network marketing has been around for quite some time now. For most of that time things were done in a very particular way. Since there was not much modern technology to speak of back then it makes perfect sense that most business was conducted belly to belly. I mean early on, belly to belly was the only way that most people could actually communicate. There were telephones, but people still had not gotten comfortable with the idea of conducting business that way just yet.
At it’s inception, Network Marketing Internet Business was primarily about networking. This simply means that people went around town, door to door to people they somewhat new and tried to make sales Eventually even looking to perhaps sign up a new distributor that would make sales, giving you the opportunity to make some overriding commissions. Those were different times when people still left their doors unlocked and sometimes a salesman was invited in for supper. In some ways things were a lot simpler back then and things moved a whole lot slower. People were happy where they were and not in such a rush to get to the next place, then the next.
It didn’t take long for technology to start changing all that however.One of the first and most significant changes was most likely the use of the telephone. Once people realized that rather than driving around all day looking 10 people to talk to, they could do it on that phone in 1 hour, it changed everything. It doesn’t take looking at those numbers for very long to realize what makes the most sense. If it takes you 10 sales calls to make 1 sale and it takes 1 hour to make 10 sales calls over the phone, or 1 hour to make just 1 sales call in person. Well, you do the math. Gathering at a local hotel where you can invite numerous guests at one time was most likely the next stage of change. You could invite 100 people to one meeting and if they all showed up you could earn in one day what you used to make all year. Things were starting to get easier. Or were they?
This warm/luke warm market approach often times began with prospecting your friends and family and then asking for referrals. Some business is still conducted that way today.
Today we find some business still conducted in the same way. For some reason though when it comes to Network Marketing Internet Business this concept makes many people feel very uncomfortable. Perhaps, what they say is true. “Don’t mix business with pleasure”. Something else of note to mention is that 97% of network marketers using this method fail in their efforts. These numbers are based on data and not my opinion. A common definition of insanity is to do the same thing over and over again, but to expect a different result. Well based on those numbers isn’t it safe to say that trying to succeed where 97% have failed over the past 60 years is insane? That gives you just about a 3% chance of succeeding. If someone told you that you had a 3% chance on making 1000% return on your money but you had to put up every penny, would you do it? The answer is obvious.
So why do so many people still try to build their business in this fashion? That is a great question and I don’t have an answer other than they just don’t know any better. Hopefully this article will fall into the right hands at the right time and give some people an alternative way of building a network marketing business. With this new method which is called a Network Marketing Internet Business we are looking to help the 97% become successful.
