Good MLM Business Leads: Find Out Who They Are And Where To Get Them

Having a network marketing or MLM business can be exciting and very lucrative. However, it may not feel like that if you are struggling to generate leads for your business.

Barely getting by month to month, not really making enough money and having no leads can be down right discouraging and many network marketers end up quitting.

This doesn’t have to be you. It’s just a matter of knowing where to look for qualified leads and then learning the right techniques to market to them.

Sound easy? It is, but it takes work. Although, this work will be results producing, rather than time consuming – we’ve all been there before.

Here are some important questions to answer

Who Are Qualified MLM Business Leads?

First, it is so important to know exactly who your target market is. I can tell you that it’s not your family and friends. It’s not your neighbor and it’s not the guy you ran into at Starbucks.

I know there are some people who have built their businesses doing things like making lists of friends and family, having hotel meetings, using the “ten foot” rule, etc. and I mean no disrespect to them.

That being said, this is not how you want to build your business because it’s simply not efficient nor is it effective (at least not for the vast majority).

Your target market is only two groups of people.

1. Other network marketers. This is because they are already sold on the network marketing and MLM industry. They understand the concept and don’t need to be convinced. Many network marketers struggle with this one, as we did in the early part of our career. Why market to someone who is already in an MLM business?

Well, you want to become a leader and provide value to other network marketers. It is not uncommon for network marketers to switch companies, so who do you think they are going to look to when they are ready to make a change?

Also, by marketing the right way to other network marketers, you can monetize your efforts by selling them quality products of your own or perhaps even some affiliate products from time to time.

These products will help them grow their business and put money into your pocket as well, even if they never join your primary opportunity!

If you remember nothing else from this article, remember this:

* Build Your List
* Build A Relationship With Your List
* Market To Your List

2. The second group of people who make good MLM business leads are people who are actively looking to start a business online. These people are looking for a solution to their problems, which is what you can offer them.

Let’s think about it for a minute.

If you were selling your beautiful home, would you go solicit your family and friends to buy it? Of course not. You would hire an experienced Real Estate Agent and they would market your home to people who are actively searching for a home by placing it on things such as MLS. This is a service that buyers use almost every day to search for their new home.

It doesn’t matter how big or beautiful the house is, if your friends and family aren’t looking for a house, they are probably not going to buy it from you!

This is the way we have to think with our MLM or network marketing business.

Where Can You Find MLM Business Leads?

Like I said before, going through your family tree isn’t where you are going to find qualified leads for your MLM business. You also won’t find them hanging out at your favorite coffee shop all day.

Once you learn effective attraction marketing strategies and then implement them into your business, you will begin to generate qualified MLM business leads.

If you don’t understand what I mean when I say attraction marketing, then I strongly suggest you become a student of attraction marketing. Learn what your prospects are looking for and then give that to them.

Figure out what your prospects’ problems are and then provide them with the solution. When you can do this, you will naturally attract qualified MLM business leads, customers and distributors into your network marketing business.

Try this little exercise: Think about exactly who you are targeting when you are marketing your MLM business. What is that person looking for? Why are they looking for it? More importantly, what will it provide for them?

Answer those questions. Provide those answers and solutions to your target market and you will attract endless leads into your MLM business.

Remember, people arent’ searching online for a network marketing or MLM business. They are looking for a solution to a problem. What is that problem?

Answer that question and you will no longer struggle for leads!
