CHAN: Deadly protests continue in Thailand. An anti-government television program shows pictures of protesters injured in a grenade attack that some say killed one person and wounded 23. Police reportedly threw grenades in among protesters gathered outside the Thai prime minister's office. Let's take a look at this story. STORY: The footage was broadcast by Asia Satellite TV, an anti-government television station, and it shows protesters injured in a grenade attack from the morning of November 20. The Prime Minister's office Compound, where it took place, has been occupied by demonstrators since August. The anti-government television station has been broadcasting live 24-hours-a-day from the occupied government compound since protesters from the People Alliance for Democracy (PAD) group invaded the Government House. The leader of a long-running anti-government street protest, Sondhi Limthongkul, accused the government of having a direct hand in firing the deadly grenade. The dead man has been identified as a 48-year-old, with shrapnel wounds to the chest. 23 others were wounded--the most serious assault on the three month sit-in. Police have little information about the incident because sentries from the anti-government group PAD have barred them from entering the barricaded Government House compound. The PAD is a loose coalition of royalist businessmen and academics trying to prevent former leader Thaksin Shinawatra from returning to power. Thaksin was ousted in a 2006 coup. Its campaign started in late 2005 and contributed heavily to the coup. The group has paralyzed government decision-making and increased the threat of recession in Thailand.Thailand's political temperature has been relatively calm for the last two weeks, but analysts had said the lull would be temporary, so the attack comes as no surprise.

The grenade should be thrown into Sonthi's face, not into innocent people who are temporary dumb because of Sonthi. Think about why the leaders of PAD never get hit. That's cause they are the one ordering the grenade themselves. Just try to get attention from the media.
