How Obama Got Elected - If you've spent more than 30 seconds on You Tube you probably noticed that the overwhelming majority of Obama voters, and by overwhelming majority I mean 99%, think that Sarah Palin is a dumb, corrupt, expletive. They rarely say anything thoughtful, but they think Palin is the one who is an idiot. They portray Sarah Palin as a know-nothing without a grasp of basic facts, let alone a deep understanding of complex issues. Now there is a poll that shows how much Obama voters actually know and the results are absolutely shocking.John Zogby polled 512 Barack Obama voters from 11/13/2008 to 11/15/2008. 55% of the Obama voters polled were college graduates and 80% have attended some college. Zogby asked them 12 multiple choice questions about the candidates. A disturbing 0.5% were able to answer all 12 questions correctly. 0.5%. That means 99.5% of Obama voters have less general knowledge than Sarah Palin which Im sure will make liberals heads explode. Here are some of the highlights:* 57% did NOT know the Democrats control congress, they had a 50/50 chance. * 72% did NOT know Joe Biden quit a previous campaign because of plagiarism.* 82% did NOT know that Barack Obama won his first election by getting opponents kicked off the ballot.* 88% did NOT know that Obama said his policies would likely bankrupt the coal industry and make energy rates skyrocket.* 56% did NOT know that Obama started his political career at the home of two former members of the Weather Underground. There is now more proof than ever that journalism is dead in America.

If you want to say that 512 people is enough to represent the mass of some hundreds of thousands of Obama voters, go afuckinghead. But anyone with half an unbiased mind would tell you that it's not adequate.

The sample is not adequate? Are you a professional pollster? You should obviously do that professionally since you know so much more about scientific polling than John Zogby.

512 callers were polled for this, which is not an adequate number for accurate representation of target population. I'm sure Republicans remembered that Obama was rumoured to be a Muslim on voting day, though we have separation of Church and State. I'm sure they all know about Obama's refusal to wear the American Flag pin. And Palin referred to Russia as Alaska's "next door neighbor." Journalism is not dead, it's just ALL bullshit propaganda, because that's what everyone wants to hear. Even you.

well I don't see how it matters now, he's president so deal with it. Neither one of the candidates was perfect. They both had their faults and good points. As a voter, you have to weigh the issues then vote based on your opinion. This is why I hate when the candidates make up lies and attack eachother. Its stupid. Instead of saying all the bad things the other person is doing, tell the people of America what we really want to hear, how you plan to solve America's problems.

The vast majority of Republicans are born-again evangelicals who think the Earth is only 600 years old. It's not a mere coincidence that Republicans always win all the dumb states.

Well, lets see.. Did the voters know that Obama was a liar, or did they 'really' think that this was just a smear campaign? Did the voters know that he used hypmotism on them? For real? Did they know he hired an expert in the field to do just that?Did they realize he paid the best thugs in the country to get him elected?Did they realize that he had no intention on bringing the troops home, but rather, just taking the glory for the outcome of it?

If a viable candidate does a combination of these 3 things, he or she is likely to win an election IMO.1.Vastly outspend your opponent.2.Have the press on your side.3.Get the support of uninformed voters.

Lol, that's awesome, not just evidence, empirical evidence. The poll was a legitimate test of the voters knowledge, and I'm sorry biglupal, it appears as though the vast majority of those voters didn't know anything except what they were fed by CNN
