didn't work for me either.when i plug it in all it does is says Please Wait... Very Low Battery.but i called the Apple support.and we tried everything to fix it.and he was like Well all i can suggest now is to get a new one. You've worn the hardware down.

ok i got this with my ipod color:::FIRST PRESS THE MENU AND SELECT BUTTON::WHEN THE APPLE ICON POPS UP PRESS THE SELECT AND PLAY BUTTON AT THE SAME TIME::AFTER THAT PLUG IT INTO THE COMPUTER AND WHEN IT SHOWS UP IF IT SHOWS UP PRESS RESTORE IPOD AND LET IT RESTORE::WHEN ITS DONE AND IF IT WORKS CORRECTLY YOU NEED TO PLUG IT INTO A WALL CHARGER NOT INTO THE COMPUTER:: IF YOU DONE THIS CORRECTLY THEN TADA IPOD WORKS FINE!HOPE THIS HELPEDD
