Blackhawks vs. Northstars 12/29/1989 (part1)One of my fondest memories of Hawks Games at Chicago Stadium. Tremendous Brawl Prior to game, no refs no coachses to stop it. Crowd was so charged up for this one, fights throughout. CLASSIC HAWKS STADIUM EXPERIENCE. Notice seating areas are dark (unlike the UC) focusing your attention on the game, organ music is only entertainment (unlike UC) adding to atmosphere and intensity, and NO TV TIMEOUTS, making flow and crowd energy incredible.

This was an old Cable Broadcast on VHS transferred to DVD, which of course is poor quality, but better than a lot of stuff I've seen from 80's. I'm just glad I was there, and able to bring a bit of the old magic to life for fans. Todays' Hawk fan generation will NEVER understand how incredible the volume and emotion was at Chicago Stadium. The United Center experience at it's loudest pales in comparison.

I was at this game!!! The camera was a bit "foggy"!
