Outbound B2B Contact Center wins the prestigious award for Contact Centre of the Year at the Ottawa Regional Call Centre Association (ORCCA) Awards Gala held in June 2008. The process for choosing the Contact Centre of the Year involved an independent team of volunteers from the contact centre industry. These individuals collaborated to establish a baseline and then review, assess and score the nominations. The scoring results are then entered into a weighted scorecard and independently validated before announcing the winners. Scoring is based on total marks for operational performance, employee experience, customer experience and current community and association involvement. The winning contact centre is the one with the highest score. What is most interesting about this year's award is that it was given to an outbound B2B contact center. Usually this award is reserved for inbound B2B and inbound B2C contact centers.
