Resell Rights: How To Find A Hot Selling Product

What Kind Of Resell Rights Products Make The Most Money

The quickest way to get set up in your own business is to get resell rights to a hot product and promote the heck out of it.

The problem is that most resell rights products available on the Internet don’t qualify as “hot products”.

Here are some tips for figuring out if the product you are thinking of getting resell rights for is going to be worth your while.

The first thing to do is to is to head on over to Google and do a search on the key words associated with the product. Use quotation marks around your search term so Google looks only for exact matches to your term. That will be a more accurate gague of the results you get.

Look in the top right hand corner of the screen and notice how many results you get. This represents how many other websites there are on the Internet using your key word theme. If there are hundreds of thousands or millions, that is a good sign. It means that there are a lot of people interested in that topic.

Next, look on the right side of the page for the Google Adwords ads. Click on the “next page” button to see if different ads keep showing up on subsequent pages. If there are a lot of Adwords ads it shows that there is money to be made if you sell something based on that keyword.

Now do another search in Google. This time type in your keyword along with the word “forums”. Forums are places on the Internet where people meet to share ideas and get answers to relevant questions. Forums are themed around a certain topic so people with similar interests can help each other. If you see a lot of forums in the search results you know there are a lot of people actively interested in the topic.

Up to this point you have been gauging the demand for the topic of your product. If there is a big demand you stand a chance of making some good money. Next you have to evaluate the resale rights products itself.

The first thing you look for in a resale rights products is how relevant it is to your market. Spend a couple of hours scanning the topics people are talking about in the forums. Take note of the questions and how long the string is of people responding to that topic.

If your product addresses one or more of the topics that has a long “string” of discussion you may have hit the jackpot! See if there is a similar trend in other forums. If you see a pattern emerging, move to the next step of evaluating your resell rights product.

It’s not enough to have a big market that is willing to pay for your product. You need to look at the business side of the picture as well.

At this point you need to evaluate what the cost of the resale rights products is compared to what you can charge for it. If you find that others are charging far more than your cost, you might have a good product. Try to have at least a 300% to 500% margin.

You need a big margin between the selling price and your cost because you will incur expenses in advertising and distributing the resale rights products. After all expenses, you should have a bare minimum of 30%. Preferably, you would make 100% or more.

If your resale rights products meets all of the above criteria. You, my friend, are on the verge of making a lot of money!

The best resell-rights products I have found are ebooks with resell rights and software. You can find more information on how to find good products as well as how to market them here: ebooks with resell rights .

Start by selling your baskets via local newspaper ads and market fairs. If however you live close to a commercial centre then you can widen the range of offerings to include corporate gift baskets. Whichever way you approach it, your new business can be as small or as large as you wish it to be!

As for any business, start with some research into the demand and potential in your area and you’ll soon decide on a range of baskets to start with. Gourmet foods are still the most popular gift baskets but a wise choice of the foods you include can set you apart from the competition. Baskets for guys tend to have wines, cheeses and hot sauces while the ladies love chocolate and champagne, bath lotions and scents. Make sure you can legally include alcohol in baskets by checking with the relevant authority in your area.

Gift baskets for brides-to-be baskets might be naughty while baby shower baskets can be full of practical stuff for new moms like wet wipes and talc, I’m sure you get the idea! By creating gift baskets that appeal to several niche areas you multiply your opportunities.

Source your goods from wholesalers as much as possible, plus the specialty retailers and scout out the local fairs for unique items to include. Buy goods in bulk to reduce your costs thereby increasing your margin. Be careful not to under-price your service, remember to include a decent margin for your time and effort as well as the materials and remember that some clients are better than others for potential profits!
