My Search Job Experience

I would like to tell a little bit about my search job` experience.
When the day of my first interview came – I had to try to get the position of assistant manager in one of the missions of fairly large company. Bearing in mind all the recommendations that you should come to the interview with a perfect manicure and polished shoes, I prepared carefully. Even changed my favourite jeans to a business suit, which had hung forlornly in the closet – as it turned out, it was quite correctly – a business dress code was adopted in the company. In general, I made sure that I look presentable and confident. Arriving at the proper time, I was in a fairly spacious, but the half-empty room.
The secretary accompanied me to the office of human resources manager, and the first phase of the three, taken in their company began. It was an interview. HR manager asked me in detail about why I chose their company, where I had studied and what skills I had, she also asked several questions about the character. I was worried and so confusing, sometimes huddled together – it was terribly ashamed to me. I do not know why, but the girl liked me, and she invited me to the second phase of the current program – completion of the questionnaire. In addition to filling of fairly standard items such as the passport, I had to answer a lot about completely unnecessary, in my opinion, issues. Although there were some issues with cunning – for example, I pondered for a long time over one of the questions: “Do you speak the truth?” and there were two options – “yes” or “no”.
No, I am not a liar, but to say that I have never told a lie is also wrong. In general, I decided “to be” by selecting “yes”. Later I learned that such questions are the usual psychological trick to test applicants. Then I understood that I have got a third lesson – it is better to answer the questionnaire honestly. Firstly, good professional psychologists, who are engaged in personnel selection, may easy compute untrue answers, and secondly, you will not have to fall in an awkward situation, because you had been embellished a little. Apparently, my honesty was appreciated – I did sincerely confessed in all mortal sins (even that was often late). So, I was invited for a third interview – with the very head of the branch. He asked me the same questions as the girl at the first interview and talked about items of how good is their company and how excellent are prospects there.
The only thing he asked me to do – to prove my self-confidence, because they needed only people who were confident in their prospects. Then I asked in response with a smile whether he often saw applicants without managerial experience and education who immediately laid claim to the post of assistant manager. As a result, having laughed at a joke, he gave me a post – first three weeks of training, after which – the work. But, I would say that I did not work in the firm – my eyes came across a semi-annual announcement of limitation, in which the company is still looking for assistant manager. A work in companies where staff turnover is so fast is more like a seasonal one. And it did not match one of my points, which sounded as follows: “My work should be permanent”.
